My drive to the IRS office in Tyler Texas was about an hour and a half. The office bldg was hard to find because you don’t see the 909 address on the building, it says 812. My appointment time was 4:00pm. I arrived at 4:08, they rescheduled my appointment. The representative (Mr Swamy) I talked to was unusually cold and uncaring, I was startled by his lack of empathy.
I still have not received my stimulus payment. I filed my 2018 taxes, but not my 2019 taxes yet. I have tried to inquire at the IRS.gov website. It says there is no update. Is there anything else I can do? Do you know if I am the only person that has not received it?
You can try calling the IRS at 800-919-9835.
