The IRS Office at Gainesville is located on the same building with the Wells Bank at Fargo. The Collier Companies, State Attorney, Josiah T. Walls Historical Marker, Alachua County Administration Building etc. are the surrounding important offices and installations located around.

Directions

East on Northeast State Road: Head west on Northeast State Road 24/East University Avenue toward Northeast 1^st Street. Make a right turn at the 2^nd cross street onto North Main Street, the destination will be on the left.

West on Northeast State Road: Head east on Northeast State Road 24/West University Avenue toward Northwest 2^nd Street. Make a left turn at the 3^rd cross street onto North Main Street where the destination will be on the left.

North on North Main Street: Head south on North Main Street toward Northeast 4 Avenue/Northeast 4^th Avenue. The destination will be on the right, keep eyes open for the IRS Office signs.

South on South Main Street: Head north on South Main Street toward Southeast 1 Avenue/Southeast 1^st Avenue where the destination will be on the right.

Hours

Monday through Friday 8.30 am to 4.30 pm. There’s a one-hour lunch break during 11.30 am to 12.30 pm. This office follows the federal holiday schedule.

How to make an appointment

If you require face-to-face service at your local IRS office, you must call 844-545-5640 to schedule an appointment.

Once you make an appointment, you will receive an automated email confirming the day and time of your appointment.

Parking

This building has sufficient parking spots for employees and visitors. In case all the spots are taken up, a visitor can park in the nearby metered parking streets and commercial parking lots.
