I filed my 2018 tax return electronically and had to pay $1586. I received a US treasury check dated 3/1/2019 for $500 and the notation on the bottom of the check says 12/2018 tax refund. No explanation, just a check. This makes no sense. Who do I contact to find out why I received this refund?
