IRS Office Lincoln – 100 Centennial Mall North, Lincoln, NE 68508

The IRS Office at Lincoln is situated in the Robert V. Denney Federal Building and US Courthouse, in downtown Lincoln. It is a 5 story structure, built in accordance with modern architectural styling. The building has been named after a late US District Court judge Robert V. Denney; he had represented in the US House of Represented as well. Other government offices in this building include the US Department of Agriculture, US District Courts, US Bankruptcy Court, US Court of Appeals, US Attorneys’ Office, Department of Transportation, and Social Security Administration. Some of the important locations close to this Federal Building are University of Nebraska – Lincoln, Nebraska History Museum, Lincoln Children’s Museum, Wells Fargo Bank, The Bourbon Theatre, Bennett Martin Public Library, Goodwill Mall, Walgreens Mall, and University of Nebraska Federal Credit Union etc. Like many other Federal Buildings, this one also features a unique artwork. Origin of Color, created by Charles Ross in 1976 is located in the Central Lobby.

Directions

East on E O Street: Head west on E O Street toward North 25^th Street. Upon arrival at the Centennial Mall North cross-street, take a right turn onto Centennial Mall N. After a hundred feet or so, the Federal Building will be on the right.

West on E O Street: Head east on E O Street toward 2^nd Street. Upon arrival at the Centennial Mall Street cross-street, take a left turn onto Centennial Mall North road. A hundred feet later, the Federal Building will be on the right.

North on Interstate 180: Head southward on I-180 South and continue onto North 9^th Street. Upon arrival, take a left turn onto P Street and The Marcus Lincoln Grand Cinema should be on the way. Continue driving straight and upon arrival at the Centennial Mall cross-street, turn right onto the road. After a hundred feet, the Federal Building will be on the left.

South on S 17^th Street: Head north on S 17^th Street toward A Street. Take a left turn onto E O Street, after a quarter mile turn right at the 2^nd cross-street onto Centennial Mall North. After a hundred feet, the Federal Building will be on the right.

Hours

Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 4.30 pm with a one-hour lunch break from 12.30 pm to 1.30 pm. This office follows the federal holiday schedule.

How to make an appointment

If you require face-to-face service at your local IRS office, you must call 844-545-5640 to schedule an appointment.

All public visitors are required to make appointments prior to visiting by calling the number provided above.

Once you make an appointment, you will receive an automated email confirming the day and time of your appointment.

Parking

This building does not have on-premises public parking. Street parking at different pricing is offered at various downtown locations within walking distance.
