The institution I am enrolling at needs proof that I did not file taxes in 2017. I sent a request form via mail and fax to the IRS location in Fresno but I have not received anything regarding the letter. Is it possible to get a transcript from the Salinas IRS.
You can get a verification of non-filing letter online.
We have a guide on how to get transcripts here: IRS transcripts.
Here’s the IRS transcripts page: https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript
